Here, you will receive endless support and appreciation while building a rewarding, lifelong career at Cleveland Clinic.Endocrine conditions are often complex and involve many systems within the body.Our endocrinologists at Twinsburg FHSC are experts at diagnosing and treating a number of diseases and disorders, ranging from diabetes to thyroid disorders and cancers.As an RN on this team, you willassistfellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, frominitialintroduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients,familiesand visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.This is a part-time role. A caregiver in this position worksvarying shifts from8:30am to 5:00pm on 8hr shifts, Monday through Friday. Days during the week will vary. No weekends, evenings or major holidays at this time are required. A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephonetriageandestablishcare plans.Administer medications and itiate CPR and other emergency measures.Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.Assistwith specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeuticproceduresand specialized patient care equipment.Develop, evaluate,adaptand document health education and provide it to patients and families.Cover other nursing roles within the department.Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited school of nursingCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or the American Red CrossOne year of recent experience as an RNWill consider LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory areaPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor ofscienceinnursing(BSN)Physical Requirements:Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.May requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $31.50Maximum hourly: $49.90The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
