Additional summer teaching opportunities may be available. This is a nine-month, renewable position, contingent upon budgetary approval, with the possibility of additional summer teaching opportunities. The role centers on teaching and supporting students in Elementary Mathematics Education within the STEM Education programs and involves close, sustained interaction with students. As a result, the position includes responsibilities related to campus safety and compliance with the Clery Act. The individual in this role will receive required training and will submit relevant data annually to the campus Clery Act team. For more information about CU Denver's commitment to campus safety under the Clery Act, please visit: ( Senior Instructor What you will do: + Teaching: Teach graduate-level courses in STEM Education, with a primary focus on Elementary Mathematics Education. + Professional Learning: Participate in the professional learning efforts of the school, specifically related to building faculty capacity in STEM pedagogy and integrating digital tools effectively. + Faculty Engagement: Actively participate in faculty meetings and contribute to committee service within the STEM Education program and the School of Education & Human Development. + Expertise in Digital Instruction: Must be proficient in using digital media for instruction, such as Canvas, as courses at CU Denver can be offered face-to-face, hybrid, or online. Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications) Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. + Doctoral Student or completed doctoral studies by August, 2026.
