Weu2019re looking for a Staff Engineer - Technical Lead with a deep specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a proven background in complex system orchestration. In this role you will help build the next generation of our order orchestration platform for Boost Mobile. This role is a critical blend of hands-on coding, technical strategy, and mentorship. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction and leading the implementation of scalable, high-performance AI-driven applications and the underlying infrastructure that manages their lifecycles. Key Responsibilities: + Define, design, and champion the technical architecture for AI-powered products, ensuring scalability, reliability and security + Drive the technical vision and roadmap for the team, balancing immediate product needs with long-term technology investments + Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, design patterns, testing, and deployment (CI/CD) across the team + Identify and proactively address technical debt, architectural risks, and performance bottlenecks + Design and build robust, automated pipelines for model training, versioning, deployment and monitoring + Optimize AI application performance, focusing on latency, throughput and resource utilization + Bridge the gap between research and production engineering, ensuring AI innovations can be deployed reliably and at scale Skills, Experience and Requirements Education & Experience: + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field + More than 8 years of experience in development and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions based on Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Webservices, Spring, Spring Boot) + At least 5 years of hands on experience with design, development and implementation of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration or Node.JS based Microservices Skills and Qualifications: + Expertise in one or more major programming languages (Python, Go, Java) with strong software engineering fundamentals + Deep experience in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, or Azure) + Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, with practical experience in design and optimization + Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences + Demonstrated history of mentoring and developing junior and mid-level engineers with a collaborative, empowering leadership style + Experience with real-time streaming technologies (Kafka) and complex orchestration systems (preferred: AWS Step Functions), especially in e-commerce or logistics environments #LI-JZ2 Salary Ranges Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits .
