Buyer / procurement specialist

We are seeking an energetic individual to be in a full-time position that is responsible for procurement and client relations for our Aerospace or Semiconductor clients. Essential Functions + Buyer/Procurement Specialist compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory; compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. + Buyer/Procurement Specialist prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items; compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders. + Buyer/Procurement Specialist analyzes inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns and reduce waste by accurately controlling and tracking physical inventory. Analyzes activities related to inventory purchasing and inventory control by participating in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies; reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock. + Buyer/Procurement Specialist coordinates and sets up new parts in Chempax utilizing the
