Human Resources - Part-Time

Description We are looking for a skilled and adaptable HR Generalist to join our team on a part-time basis in Los Angeles, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's human resources functions while collaborating closely with leadership and team members. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and an opportunity to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and post job descriptions on platforms such as Indeed to attract candidates with relevant experience. u2022 Collaborate with the Board and Executive Director to address organizational HR needs and priorities. u2022 Organize, file, and scan important HR documents to maintain accurate records. u2022 Draft and review forms, including overtime requests, to ensure compliance and efficiency. u2022 Provide guidance on alternative work schedules and advise on best practices. u2022 Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including scheduling and administrative support. u2022 Support onboarding processes by preparing documentation and ensuring smooth transitions for new hires. u2022 Assist in resolving employee inquiries and concerns to promote a positive workplace environment. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in human resources or a related field, preferably in a generalist role. u2022 Familiarity with HR systems and tools, such as ADP and Kronos Timekeeping System. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. u2022 Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written. u2022 Proficiency in tools like Cisco Webex Meetings, Concur, and CRM systems. u2022 Experience in calendar management and scheduling. u2022 Knowledge of HR policies and best practices. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
