How We Work: At Proofpoint youu2019ll be part of a global team that breaks barriers to redefine cybersecurity guided by our BRAVE core values: Bold in how we dream and innovate Responsive to feedback, challenges and opportunities Accountable for results and best in class outcomes Visionary in future focused problem-solving Exceptional in execution and impact Your day-to-day u00b7 Engage with new and existing enterprise customers in a technical project management capacity. u00b7 Work with the project teams to create detailed project plans and drive them to completion. u00b7 Track and manage project dependencies, work progress, project risks and resource allocation. u00b7 Coordinate and facilitate planning and working meetings. u00b7 Ensure plans are aligned with resources, company objectives, and technical standards. u00b7 Ensure plan objectives and milestones are clearly defined and attainable. u00b7 Provide regular status reports to customer and management (including executives) as necessary u00b7 Manage (typically 10-20) projects simultaneously and ensure that project needs are being met and processes are being followed. u00b7 Work collaboratively with other Proofpoint departments including sales, support, engineering, and product management to ensure successful completion of customer engagements by acting as a customer advocate. u00b7 Proactively assess and communicate project risks and associated risk strategies. u00b7 Facilitate customer escalations, managing communication plans and driving issues to resolution. u00b7 Manage internal projects within Professional Services to improve quality and efficiency of services to customer as needed. u00b7 Collaborate with members of the Professional Services team as well as other departments in refining and expanding Professional Services operational best practices and processes. What you bring to the team u00b7 Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience u00b7 7+ years industry experience in a customer-facing technical field such as professional services, sales engineering, or technical support, with an excellent customer service record u00b7 Experience in working with multiple customers and have an aptitude for managing changing priorities u00b7 Experience in large systems design and project implementation for enterprise email environments u00b7 Broad technical knowledge of Internet products and technologies u00b7 Aptitude for technical learning u00b7 Strong email, email security, and messaging infrastructure project delivery experience; knowledge of archiving and supervision methodology a plus u00b7 Ability to work at all levels within an organization, including C-Levels, of organizations, both technically and professionally u00b7 Adept at conflict resolution: This job entails working with a variety of people and personalities u00b7 Adaptable and flexible work style to accommodate working with several different customers at once u00b7 Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention that may include Endpoint DLP applications, Cloud Application Security Broker, Isolation a plus u00b7 A broad understanding of Internet protocols and how they work, particularly HTTP, SMTP, IMAP, RFC822, LDAP, PKI; CASB and other cloud architectures a plus u00b7 Basic knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.) a plus Why Proofpoint As a customer focused and driven-to-win organization with leading edge products, there are many exciting reasons to join the Proofpoint team. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below.
