Overview ABM Industries is seeking General Maintenance Technicians to join our team. The General maintenance technician is responsible for assisting with general repairs and inspections involving basic electrical, mechanical and plumbing in a commercial building located in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate run wire, replace fuses, install outlets, switches and fixtures. Also performing basic plumbing maintenance, running snake, cutting PVC pipe or patching dry wall, painting. Among other duties, performing basic HVAC maintenance, such as replacing filters, thermostats, fan inspections and ensuring proper operation of equipment & systems in the building, adequately fill out work order and preventive maintenance documentation In this position, you will report to a lead maintenance technician and will receive guidance on daily maintenance activities around building. This is a great opportunity for someone with all around maintenance experience, handyman's or even apprentice building engineers looking to get into the workforce and this opportunity has the potential for growth & development. This opportunity requires no travel outside of the job site, a commercial building located in Charlotte, NC. Job Details: (Full time) 1st shift: 6:30AM to 3:00PM.
