Pay Range: $16.80 - $23.10 Regenerative Medicine, Customer Applications u2013 Undergraduate Student Intern All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time. Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic undergraduate junior or senior student to join our Customer Applications u2013 Regenerative Medicine R&D team focused on developing advanced 3D cell culture models including organoids. The intern will focus on showcasing the application of synthetic hydrogel systems in developing from induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) derived organoids, which serve as advanced models for drug testing and personalized medicine. This position provides hands-on experience in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and biomaterial research, offering exposure to cutting-edge techniques in disease modeling. Pay Rate: $18.00 an hour Key Responsibilities: + Support the development and maintenance of organoids derived from iPSCs using synthetic hydrogel platforms. + Perform routine cell culture tasks, including media preparation and sterile handling. + Conduct basic imaging and documentation of organoid growth and morphology. + Maintain accurate laboratory records and contribute to data organization. + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and optimize protocols. + Communicate project progress effectively in written and verbal formats. + Work cross-functionally with other teams within Bio-Techne, when applicable. + Present findings to broader Bio-Techne team at the end of the internship program. Program Requirements : + Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship + Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college. + Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program. Required Qualifications: + Currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior or senior in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields. + Basic understanding of cell culture principles and sterile techniques. + Strong interest in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, or biomaterials. + Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain attention to detail. + Good organizational and communication skills. + Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative research environment.
