What youu2019ll do: Eatonu2019s Power Quality Division is currently seeking a Shipper/Reciever II to join our team in Raleigh, NC, North Carolina. The Shipper/Reciever II provide manufacturing expertise and support including but not limited to, sorting, verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments. In this role: u2022 You will exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eatonu2019s quality guidelines as they move throughout the shipping, or Receiving, process and perform quality checks as instructed. u2022 You will operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate material u2022 You will use a resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freight. u2022 You will prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights and affixing proper postage and paperwork. u2022 You will interface with shipping office, customer service, drivers and carriers to ensure proper delivery. u2022 You will report irregularities, or equipment malfunctions u2022 You will utilize problem solving skills and be required to train others as directed by your supervisor u2022 You will need to coordinate with cross department functions, the materials department, external distributors and freight forwarders u2022 You will be the subject matter expert in this role u2022 Other duties as assigned When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we u2014 as individuals and as a company u2014 are stronger.
