The therapist also assists with general quality assurance responsibilities for program treatment services. This position will work 201 days per year (full-time). Essential Responsibilities + To assure the delivery of quality services and the effective implementation of individual, family, and group therapy. + To assure proper documentation and record keeping. + To assure appropriate discharge planning and post-program success. + To assure the continuous safety of all students. + Provides sound clinical judgment as well as crisis intervention and problem solving skills. + To assure the continuing development of professional skills. Qualifications Education / Credentials / Licensure: + Master's Degree in Counseling or Social work required. + Valid state driver's license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance required. Experience + Two (2) years of clinical mental health experience working with children and families required. + Experience with the application of behavioral management, ecological systems theory, and cognitive behavioral techniques required. Clearances + State Police; FBI clearance: Child Abuse Clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies. Working Conditions + Physical Demands. This position requires a moderate to high level of physical activity. + Environmental Factors. Community, Home, School + Working Hours. As Assigned. Qualifications Education Required + Masters or better in Social Work + Masters or better in Counseling Psychology Experience Required + 2 years: Clinical mental health experience working with children and families.
