Program Manager

Job Title: Program Manager Job Description The Project Engineer serves as the primary technical interface with customers, ensuring all in-scope contractual requirements are fulfilled. This role requires maintaining strong customer relationships and managing resources effectively to drive project progress. Responsibilities + Serve as the primary technical interface with customers. + Attend virtual and face-to-face meetings. + Respond to customer inquiries and maintain relationships. + Ensure all in-scope contractual requirements are fulfilled. + Manage assigned resources on a day-to-day basis. + Answer questions related to contract and customer expectations. + Remove roadblocks and interface with other department leads. + Protect the team from stressors. + Manage onboard work package schedule and inform the team of upcoming milestones. + Drive project progress and maintain the schedule. + Manage onboard work package budget, create baseline forecasts, and track progress. + Understand contract scope and bid assumptions, and prepare TCRs for unplanned work. + Manage deliverables and maintain the document repository. + Prepare and review or authorize team submissions. + Align physical hardware delivery targets with customer contracts and monitor progress. + Submit purchase requisitions and manage other subcontracts. + Ensure compliance with cab group process and IMS process requirements. + Resolve audit findings and provide feedback on team member performance. + Recognize extraordinary performance with positive feedback and morale-boosting activities. Essential Skills + Project management expertise. + Experience in scheduling and budgeting. + Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant engineering field. + 10+ years of project management experience. + Experience managing project budgets of over $20 million. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with subcontract management. + Understanding of quality assurance processes. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with two days in the office and three days working remotely. The office is a cubicle setting with no manufacturing on site, and the team environment is supportive with long-term potential for growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $77.00/hr.
