This new position leads the development, implementation,and ongoing operations of faculty performance monitoring to ensureeffective compliance of SMPH with UW and state requirements for facultyinstructional workload. Additionally, this position focuses onidentifying exceptional faculty performance and fosters collaborationacross units and departments to standardize the annual review processfor faculty across SMPH using best practices. The work may requiremanaging related communications and outreach activities with internaland external SMPH stakeholders. The Faculty Affairs Manager strives toensure transparency and accuracy of data management as well as adedication to leveraging insights from data to address organizationalstrategic goals. The Faculty Affairs Manager will need thoroughknowledge, skills and experience in three key areas: Data tracking andmanagement, effective communication and problem solving. Knowledge andexperience of applying state, institutional, school and department/unitfaculty policies and processes for tracking of annual reviews,instructional workload and faculty data is an advantage. Key specificresponsibilities: Faculty Statutory and Regulatory RequirementsMonitoring Comply with UW, state and regulatory requirements structional workload Collaborate with stakeholders to develop andmaintain an instructional workload tracking system Periodic gathering ofinstructional workload and other faculty data including relatedadministrative tasks Generate annual compliance reports Communicate withvarious stakeholders across the institution, school, anddepartments/units Schedule meetings with stakeholders and managefollow-up Annual Review...
