The Youth Campnight EMT position works as part of a health care team to support thewellness of minors participating in residential (overnight) camps on theUW Madison campus. Supporting the campers, interacting with campuspartners and perhaps interacting with camper's families/ guardians,Youth Camp EMTs help create a memorable experience for campers. Hoursvary to meet operational needs. A minimum of 20 hours/week is required.Rotating weekends and holidays are required. Some day or night shiftsmay occur and are discussed in advance. This position is posted at 20-40hours per week, as time can fluctuate due to operational needs andprograms in session. The schedule for this position is 11pm-7am,including every other weekend. A single day of orientation will occurbetween April 22nd - May 21st, 2026.Youth Camps run from early Junethrough early August. A required in-person HR orientation must beattended on one of the following dates:April 22nd; 1pm-9pm May 6th;9am-5pm May 20; 1pm-9pm Additional Information: Applicants must beavailable for department training during the first week of June.Holidays (4th of July) and rotating weekends are required.
