Description: The candidate will join an existing team that maintains existing and develops new web-based applications for use throughout the agency. Attention to detail and ability to meet the needs of multiple stakeholder groups and challenges posed by competing priorities, as part of a team, are crucial for this role, as is flexibility in the face of changing requirements. This position requires knowledge of and strong experience with Microsoft Web application architecture, development software, tools and environment such as ASP.NET, Java Script, Web Services, jQuery, C#, and HTML in a Microsoft Web development environment using components such as IIS, DB2/Oracle, Okta, GitHub Enterprise, and Relational Database Management Systems. The candidate should have strong experience with fullstack development, REST APIs, Okta, OAuth and Open ID Connect. Experience with existing DCF development best practices and systems is preferred. Prior experience with the development of Security applications and with designing, implementing and managing fine-grain authorization policies and mechanisms within applications to control specific data, features, and functionalities at the granular level is required. The candidate should also have experience writing custom SQL, coding for authentication, using LDAP, integrating 3rd party connections, and test-driven development and automated testing methodology. Hands-on knowledge of DCF security policies and practices is preferred. In addition to project duties, this individual will provide primary support for several applications that are used throughout the agency. This will include conducting requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, deployment activities, and production support.
