PositionOverview The Senior SAP Security Application Analyst will work onbusiness systems design and configuration, as well as upgrades andimprovements for assigned technology platforms.As a primary supportcontact for SAP application end-users, the Senior SAP SecurityApplication Analyst will work to identify issues that arise in theapplication area as well as issues that impact other application teams,and work to resolve them. The Senior Application Analyst will performimpact analysis of desired changes, build and test systems changes, andidentify areas of improvement associated with platform performance andopportunities to enable business processes and requirements. The SeniorApplication Analyst will act as a mentor to junior analysts on the team,support questions, and may delegate activities to other analysts.Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for business systems design and configuration, and upgradesand improvements for low to medium complexity applications. Design andimplement solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that areimaginative, thorough, and practical. Responsible for independentdevelopment and configuration of an assigned application. Identifyissues that arise in the application area as well as issues that impactother application teams, and work to resolve them. Develop new processesand procedures to meet current challenges. Create and maintain systemdocumentation. Lead the estimation of enhancement or support requests.Guide workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyzetechnical issues. Liaise with business systems stakeholders and softwarevendor's implementation staff to ensure alignment of business needswith the delivery of system changes. Develop an understanding ofoperational needs to set the direction for the organization'sworkflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve businessworkflow with technology improvements.
