Thefounding Dean of the College of Computing and Artificial Intelligencewill report to the Chancellor through the Provost, and will serve as thechief academic and administrative officer of the College. The dean willwork closely with campus leaders, including 16 fellow deans, and isresponsible for the strategic and visionary leadership of the College.The College of Computing and Artificial Intelligence is beingestablished as a separate and standalone college within the Universitybeginning July 1, 2026. This transition represents the next stage ofevolution and innovation for the academic departments - ComputerSciences, the Information School, and Statistics - formerly organizedunder the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences within theCollege of Letters & Science.
