JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Role Snapshot The Medicare Outreach &Education Specialist plays a crucial role in our Medicare Program bydeveloping and delivering educational content to the provider communityregarding current and upcoming CMS regulations. This specialist createsand develops educational materials, host events, and analyze data toimprove provider education and reduce billing errors all while workingin a fast-paced, remote environment. This education is provided toMedicare providers, coders, billers, and compliance staff to help themunderstand the Medicare program and be informed about changes. The roleassists providers in developing best practices to avoid coverage andbilling errors to reduce error rates and protects the Medicare TrustFund. The Outreach and Education Specialist focuses on ensuring apositive customer experience through relationship building withproviders, CMS, and other stakeholders. Salary Range $60,000 - $95,000The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted rangebased on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may falloutside of this range. Like toconduct outreach activities that increase provider engagement andawareness of organizational services, programs, and initiatives. Havecollaborated with clinical and administrative teams to understandprovider challenges and develop targeted solutions. Would enjoy servingas a resource for providers regarding updates in guidelines, policies,billing procedures and regulatory requirements. Can Coordinate withinternal teams (i.e., Claims, Appeals, Systems, Medicare InternalProcesses, Provider Enrollment) to ensure identified issues arecommunicated and shared with Provider Outreach & Education (POE) staff.Can establish and maintain a POE Advisory Group (POE AG) to assistcontractors in creation, implementation, and review of providereducation strategies and efforts.
