We are looking for candidateswith a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions asdemonstrated through training and/or practice experience. This positionrequires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus worklocation. This position has been identified as a position of trust withaccess to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will berequired to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible foremployment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.Please note there are currently two vacancies with different FTE ranges:Vacancy 1: This position is full or part-time, 50% to 100% Vacancy 2:This position is part-time, 50% to 80% Applicants for this position willbe considered for the title of: Assistant Professor (CHS). The title isdetermined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist. Key JobResponsibilities: Physicians hired on the Clinical Health Sciences (CHS)track will participate in administrative and committee work to supportthe clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School ofMedicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will beworking in a collegial relationship with other faculty members. Clinicalexpectations include providing patient care at American FamilyChildren's Hospital and other UW Health clinic locations. ClinicalResponsibilities include coverage of the ambulatory and inpatientpediatric endocrinology and diabetes services.
