JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB SUMMARY: The Fire Life Safety Sales Representativeposition provides growth of the organization by focusing on inspectionand monitoring agreement sales for all services provided by the company.As well as providing industry leading customer service to maintaincustomer relationships. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Acquire sales leads fornew work prioritizing multi-year inspections for all services providedby Summit Fire Protection. Provide outside sales and inside sales.Solicit all building and construction types: new construction,renovations, additions, retrofits, and similar. Lead the sales processfrom initial contact/bid invite to acquisition of contract/Notice toProceed; initial contact may be initiated by Sales Representative orCustomer (both) Generate new relationships and foster existingrelationships among Customer base for the purposes of continued sales.Generate new proposals, follow-up on active proposals, and close saleson active proposals. Communicate status of active proposals toManagement. Attend meetings-includes internal meetings (kickoff, jobprogress, design coordination, and as requested) as well as externalmeetings (coordination with Customer and other Stakeholders, AuthorityHaving Jurisdiction coordination, design, and submittal planning, and asrequested). Function as a face of the Company amongst our Customer baseand industry, representing our identity: Professionalism, Quality, andFocus on Relationships. General assistance to Project Managers andDesign Department for communicating schedules, product/materialinformation, coordination of work, and similar support. Generalassistance to Accounting personnel with job set-up, monitoring ofprofitability, billing, and similar. Utilize accounting software forassistance with (or general knowledge of) tracking costs, billing,Change Orders, and similar. Assistance with general marketing activitiesand promotion of the Company. This individual must be a self-starter,organized, and detail oriented. Communication and follow-through arecritical. Other duties may be assigned.
