Role Overview TheAssistant Project Manager I (APM I) supports project managers incoordinating and overseeing the execution of construction projects. Thisrole involves assisting with project planning, budgeting, scheduling,and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The APM I also helpsmonitor progress, communicate with contractors and suppliers, andmaintain project documentation. Strong organizational and communicationskills are key to ensuring projects are completed on time and withinbudget. Primary Responsibilities Coordinates the planning andimplementation of concrete frame and formwork projects. Performsjobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety,and quality. Responsible for assisting the managing of projectproductivity, costs, quality and safety consistent with company policiesand practices. Develops and maintains customer relationships toenhance company's ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensureoperational efficiency. Creates and coordinates material andequipment schedules and promotes their efficient use. Coordinates allsubcontractor and vendor contracts and associated processes andprocedures. Performs special projects and completes all other dutiesas assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.Minimum Qualifications Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering,Construction Management, related degree, or its equivalent and a minimumof 1-2 years of work experience successfully supporting similar primaryresponsibilities meeting and exceeding performance expectations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability tocommunicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well aswith customers and vendors. Detail oriented with the ability toefficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of informationregarding plan layouts, material deliveries and jobsite productivities. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements andregulations. Ability to travel and work for extended period of timeon projects outside of office area.
