Assembler I

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary Assembler I is responsible for fabricatingcomponent parts or assembling the finished product according to thecustomer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct componentparts and supplies required for the operation. Principle Duties andResponsibilities Completes work area setup Fits parts together inaccordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with qualitystandards Operates hand tools as required to complete the assemblyprocess Stacks completed products in accordance with establishedprocedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band componentsfinished product Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, andthat equipment is safe to operate Completes pre-shift startup equipmentinspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns Maintains aclean and orderly work environment Maintains production records asrequired Checks materials and finished products to ensure they arecompliant with standards Performs duties consistent with establishedsafety and quality procedures, rules, and standards Participates insafety, CI, and other programs and meetings Performs other duties asassigned Qualifications High school diploma/GED preferred but notrequired No minimum experience is required however, 6 months ofmanufacturing and assembling experience is preferred Working knowledgeof basic math preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Click here towatch what a day in the life of an Assembler looks like.
