Packaging Operator - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift Aerotek is hiring now for their best clients in the market. Grab this opportunity to work with one of our client for a Packaging Operator position with pay range started from $22/HR where you will get the room to grow and make your perfect career Job Description Join our team as a Packaging Operator, where you will play an essential role in producing high-quality sweet potato chips. You will be responsible for managing and operating high-speed packaging machines, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the production area, and maintaining our high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities + Set up and operate high-speed packaging machines to produce chip bags. + Oversee operations of Alpma machines, brine systems, and filling forms. + Perform minor troubleshooting to identify and resolve machine stoppages or jams. + Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and production procedures. + Maintain accurate record-keeping and quality control. + Communicate effectively with team members and management. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in machine operation, specifically in high-speed manufacturing. + Proficiency in operating and setting up packaging machines. + Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Ability to perform minor troubleshooting on machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with adjusting feeds and speeds. + Ability to perform machine changeovers efficiently. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
