Extrusion Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: TITLE: Extrusion Technician C POSITION OBJECTIVE:Inteplast Building Products produces PVC Molding, Decking, Fascia, etc.Extrusion Technicians will be responsible for the production process ofour products. We are looking for a hands-on professional with strongindustrial mechanical skills, basic electrical knowledge, and a goodunderstanding of safety and quality procedures. Monday through Fridayplant operations - Evening and overnight shifts available. Starting payat $16.75 or more with previous extrusion manufacturing experienceExcellent benefits package available. Safety-focused employer.QUALIFICATIONS: A High School Diploma or equivalent Legal eligibility towork in the US Ability to speak, read, and write in English Effectivecommunication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels ofpersonnel Basic math skills, some mechanical abilities, and basicelectrical skills. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance anddemonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours asnecessary, such as overtime, weekends. Capable of lifting, pulling, andpushing up to 50 pounds of various sizes and shapes. Capable of standingand walking for extended periods of time and climbing ladders or otherequipment for cleaning. Capable of effectively managing job-relatedstress and fostering productive workplace interactions JOBRESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure safety, quality, and production standards onassigned lines. Monitor all extrusion functions, maintain communicationwith rear line operations, and maximize throughput, while complying withoperating procedures and customer specifications. Properly maintain andcare for equipment, initiating maintenance work orders for futureoutages as needed. Complete paperwork to determine if production metricsare captured. Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of lines, adheringto daily housekeeping requirements and checklists.
