Position Overview: As a cargoagent, you will assist customers during the shipping and handlingprocess by expediting and routing movement of incoming and outgoingcargo and freight shipments for air transportation. Essential Duties andResponsibilities (Including but not limited to): Builds up and breaksdown cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines; Identifies cargo that does not meet customer or company standards and orguidelines; Obtains proper security documents for all shipments; Organizes freight within the warehouse according to the base storageplan; Properly and safely loads and unloads freight; Required Skillsand Experience: Maintain and treat all information as confidential; Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and clientrepresentatives; Must be able to read, write, understand and carryout instructions in English; Must be able to verbally direct inEnglish; A valid driver's license is required for this position.Work Environment: Warehouse - physically strenuous, prolonged periodsof time standing with exposure to noise (may be excessive at times),safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures andhumidity, in and around heavy moving...
