Strives to maintain LandmarkCredit Union's reputation for providing the most competitive mortgagerates and highest quality customer service. The Mortgage Loan Originator(MLO) serves as the initial point of contact with new and existingmembers seeking mortgage loan guidance. Mortgage Loan Officers stayinvolved in the community in which they work. REQUIREMENTS 1. Highschool diploma or equivalent, and a minimum five years of lendingexperience with a minimum of two years of experience as a commissionedmortgage loan officer with proven production volume. Equivalentcombination of education and experience will also be considered. 2. Musthave a National Mortgage Licensing System registration (NMLS#). 3. Musthave or develop a thorough understanding of all types of mortgageproducts. 4. Experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programsand systems used for this job, including systems related to deposit andloan products. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills,problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to workindependently. 6. Must have the ability to use independent judgment anddiscretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree ofconfidentiality. 7. Must develop a thorough understanding of companypolicies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must complywith all company policies and procedures and job related state andfederal laws and regulations. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Buildsrelationships with realtors, builders and other centers of influencewithin the local community. 2. Cultivates branch relationship byattending regular branch meetings and coaching branch staff. 3. Managespipeline for all originated loans, from origination through closing. 4.Takes mortgage loan applications, obtains credit reports and completes/submits necessary paperwork to mortgage underwriters. 5. Cross sellsLandmark's other products and services and makes referrals toLandmark's Investment Center. 6. Represents Landmark Credit Union inthe community by becoming actively...
