UX Researcher

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Genesis10 is seeking a UX Researcher for a 12-monthcontract position with a client located in the Milwaukee, WI area. Thisrole can be onsite in NYC or Milwaukee. Pay Rate: $63.00-$64.00/hrSummary: The UX Researcher will serve as a key advocate for users bypartnering closely with product, design, and development teams touncover user needs, pain points, and behaviors. This role will leadend-to-end research initiatives, translating insights into actionablerecommendations that drive meaningful, human-centered experiences. Theideal candidate is comfortable operating autonomously, thrives inambiguity, and is passionate about elevating user experiences throughrigorous research. Responsibilities: Interface with product, design, anddevelopment teams to raise awareness of user needs, pain points, andbehaviors. Understand stakeholder research needs and identifyappropriate qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Fullyexecute research projects from initial kickoff throughfielding/interviewing to sharing findings as the primary researcher.Develop UX research artifacts including research proposals, moderatorguides, and results summaries. Synthesize and communicate researchfindings clearly, efficiently, and elegantly to diverse stakeholders.Identify unmet research opportunities that add value and independentlyexecute them. Recruit and maintain lists of targeted researchparticipants from internal and external sources. Serve as a trustedsource of user knowledge and insights across the organization. Challengethe status quo when addressing user needs and advocate for user-centeredsolutions. Qualifications: 2 years of experience conducting formal UX oruser research. Master's Degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction(HCI), psychology, human factors, social sciences, or a related field.Practical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques,including contextual inquiry, usability testing, competitivebenchmarking, interviews, focus groups, and surveys. Hands-on experiencewith UX research tools such as OptimalSort, UserZoom, ,or similar platforms. Experience using survey tools such as Qualtrics,SurveyMonkey, or equivalent. Strong passion for understanding anddesigning amazing experiences for human beings. Enthusiasm for ambiguityand uncertainty, with the ability to work independently andautonomously.
