Harley-Davidson's York Vehicle Operations (YVO)facility, located in York, Pennsylvania, is our final assembly plant.YVO also performs a variety of manufacturing operations, includingfabrication, welding, polishing, and painting, and produces a wide rangeof current and replacement parts for all models. - Join our team as aDirector, Supplier Quality Job Summary This role is responsible for theglobal supplier quality function of the Corporate Quality strategy andleads the center-led activities related to quality performancemanagement, quality strategy development, problem prevention, detection,and elimination activities related to vehicle and part quality, acrossthe global supply chain. This individual will act as the voice of thecustomer as it relates to quality and will be the subject matter expertand change agent to ensure delivery of premium quality to our customers.This individual will sit on a variety of forums and be an influentialleader of continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities Develop, refine,and implement the global supplier quality enterprise-wide qualitystrategy and facilitate cross-functional resources in support of theQuality Senior Leadership Group (QSLG) forum and initiatives.Demonstrate the ability to engage, motivate and energize employees atall levels through trust, credibility and collaboration that leads tocultural transformation including the ability to seek and developalliances and partnerships across the organization to achieve businessgoals and improve overall performance.
