JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION OVERVIEW In this role, you will beresponsible for managing Regal Rexnord's global intellectual propertydocket and portfolio in coordination with our Chief IntellectualProperty Counsel, outside counsel, and key internal stakeholdersthroughout the organization. You will manage various patent andtrademark prosecution matters day-to-day and provide guidance related topatents, trademarks, and domain names. This role presents an excitingopportunity to engage with cross-functional stakeholders to driveinnovation and support a diverse range of products. You will reportdirectly to the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel. Preferred hybridonsite presence at our Chicago (Rosemont) or Milwaukee office. Remotework may be considered for highly qualified candidates. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES Manage the global intellectual property (IP) portfolioin coordination with Chief Intellectual Property Counsel, outsidecounsel, and key internal stakeholders. Maintain and monitor patent andtrademark dockets, including managing deadlines, coordinating withoutside counsel, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and gatheringdocumentation required for filings. Maintain intellectual propertydatabase (CPI). Manage patent annuity and trademark renewal processes,including facilitating internal review in advance of renewal deadlines.Support the invention disclosure and review process, initial patentsearches, clearance assessments, and related prosecution matters. Managetrademark clearance searches and related prosecution matters for newtrademark applications. Communicate with internal stakeholders, outsidecounsel, and foreign associates on IP-related matters. Prepare regularreports on the status of the patent and trademark portfolio as well asspecific matters. Assist in reviewing IP agreements, including, forexample, non-disclosure agreements and licensing terms. Collaborate withoutside counsel and oversee budgets for IP-related activities. REQUIREDSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate7+ years experience managing patent and trademark docketing and filings(U.S. and International). Strong customer service orientation and oraland written communication skills to effectively communicate deadlinesand requirements for IP matters to internal stakeholders. Proven abilityto manage and process large volumes of complex information and provideclear practical guidance to business leaders. Effective projectmanagement skills to drive processes and initiatives forward efficientlyand in a timely manner. Proficiency with intellectual property databasemanagement systems, specifically CPI.
