Warehouse Associate

Adecco is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Logistics Support). In this role, youu2019ll play an important role in making sure freight gets where it needs to go by working alongside a top-caliber management team that understands the transportation industry. Youu2019ll be supported by a passionate team motivated by fast-paced innovation and the desire to deliver for customers at every step of the experience. + Location: Onsite - Miami, FL + Pay Rate: $17.00 /hr + Shift: Sunday u2013 Saturday coverage + Shift: 5:00 AM u2013 1:00 PM (or slightly longer based on freight volume). Responsibilities: + Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders. + Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to verify that loads arrive on time and in good condition. + Take check calls from drivers to ensure timely delivery and validate load data for accounting purposes. + Read and process work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed. + Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed. + Maintain a safe environment by ensuring the warehouse is accessible and adhering to all safety policies. Qualifications: + Experience loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners. + Dock or warehouse experience within the transportation industry is preferred. + Basic computer skills and written/verbal communication skills. + Critical thinking ability to carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form. + Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and work on your feet. + Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, due to varying freight volumes. + Driven individual looking for a place to grow and advance their career.
