Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Position Purpose At Saint Francis Hospital the Virtual Registered Nurse RN is a key part of our innovative Virtual Connected Care delivery Model. This is a true team approach to patient-centered care and uses technology to support direct care staff and increase patient interaction. What you will do + The Virtual RN is connected to the Patient Room virtually with complete access to medical records and performs detailed examinations via advance camara technology. + They also provide mentoring and support to the direct care nurse. Minimum Qualifications + Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area. BSN graduate preferred. + Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut. + Certification : BLS certification required. + Experience: Minimum Eight (8) years of experience in health condition management, which must include adult condition management and Hospital experience. + Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
