Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the the role of Bridge EIT, we'll count on you to:Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of bridge designsWork on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable) box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projectsSelect standard bridge engineering/design procedures, and develop structural details using specialized softwarePerform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity developmentDevelop structural details using basic structural design and analysis software.Participate in bridge inspection, perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity developmentPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Structural EngineeringExperience in bridge/structural designRequired QualificationsBachelor's degreeFamiliarity with Bluebeam Revuand knowledge of engineering software packages such as: LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge.Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3dStrong understanding and hands-on use of computers for structural layout and designGood communication skills and willing to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
