Examines and diagnoses patients and develops treatment plans, providing treatment for illnesses, injury, emergencies, prenatal care, follow-up, and screening and testing. Performs testing, referral to physicians as needed, writes prescriptions, and performs procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols and available equipment.
