About the Role NetSuite Customer Success (CS) is seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our Professional Services team focused on the Manufacturing vertical . MFG Delivery delivers ERP implementations and optimization engagements (using SuiteSuccess methodology) for customers across North America. This role is part of the NetSuite Customer Success u2013 Delivery / Professional Services organization and is responsible for leading end-to-end NetSuite implementations, phase upgrades, module deployments, and optimization/health check engagements that result in project-based, high-value deliverables. As a Principal Consultant, you will operate independently with ownership for overall engagement outcomes, working closely with Project Managers and consulting teams to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions. Soft skills and professional maturity are essential - you must be capable of navigating complex client situations and collaborating effectively across internal and external teams. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities + Lead and deliver NetSuite implementation and optimization engagements (SuiteSuccess and tailored deployments) for manufacturing clients, ensuring quality, scope adherence, and customer satisfaction. + Gather, analyze, and validate customer business requirements and translate them into scalable NetSuite solutions and designs. + Architect and configure NetSuite solutions to meet customer business objectives, including complex workflows, automations, and integrations. + Define detailed functional requirements and collaborate with technical resources (internal or partners) to design and test integrations and advanced configurations. + Provide leadership and oversight to consultant team members, delegating tasks while owning the final solution delivery. + Establish strong rapport with customers, proactively managing expectations, scope, and resolution of challenges with professionalism. + Apply NetSuite implementation methodology, industry best practices, and internal processes to deliver consistent, repeatable outcomes. + Participate in project planning, solution scoping, effort estimation, and knowledge sharing across the Professional Services practice. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date expertise in NetSuite capabilities and certifications. Minimum Qualifications + Relevant Experience: Typically 5+ years of professional experience relevant to NetSuite implementations, including hands-on NetSuite ERP implementation experience (SuiteSuccess methodology highly preferred). + Consulting Experience: Prior experience in client-facing consulting roles where complex business problems are solved through software implementation. + Manufacturing Focus: Demonstrated experience or deep understanding of manufacturing business processes and NetSuite implementations in manufacturing or closely related industry verticals (Products). + Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. + Certifications: NetSuite certifications (e.g., NS Administrator, ERP Consultant) preferred; commitment to pursuing relevant certifications is expected. + Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and influence at both technical and executive levels. + Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership presence with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and manage customer expectations. + Soft Skills: Professional judgment, adaptability, and the ability to navigate challenging situations with clients and internal stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications + Strong financial and accounting process knowledge, or significant exposure to manufacturing operational and supply chain processes. + Proven track record leading medium to large ERP projects, including solution design, configuration, and delivery. + Experience mentoring or coaching junior consultants within delivery engagements. + Ability to travel as needed. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $78,500 to $128,500 per annum. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
