Job Description Summary The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for GE HealthCareu2019s Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) segment is a senior executive leadership role responsible for overseeing and advancing the global compliance strategy across the PDx business. This includes ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, while fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical decision-making. The CCO will serve as a trusted advisor to the PDx Leadership Team, providing strategic guidance on compliance risks, leading investigations, and driving proactive compliance initiatives across all geographies and functions. This role is critical to safeguarding the companyu2019s reputation and enabling sustainable business growth in a highly regulated environment. Job Description Your Responsibilities Strategic Compliance Leadership: u2022 Define and execute the global compliance strategy for PDx, aligned with GE HealthCareu2019s enterprise-wide compliance framework. u2022 Serve as a key member of the PDx Leadership Team, contributing to business strategy with a compliance lens. u2022 Provide regular updates to the CEO of PDx and the GE HealthCare General Counsel on compliance risks, trends, and mitigation plans. Policy, Risk & Governance: u2022 Oversee the development, implementation, and enforcement of compliance policies and procedures. u2022 Lead risk assessments and compliance audits across PDx operations, including manufacturing, R&D, commercial, and medical affairs. u2022 Ensure robust governance of third-party interactions, promotional practices, and data privacy. Training, Culture & Engagement: u2022 Champion a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour through training, awareness campaigns, and leadership engagement. u2022 Partner with HR and Communications to embed compliance into onboarding, performance management, and recognition programmes. Monitoring, Investigations & Reporting: u2022 Lead internal investigations into potential compliance violations, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate remediation. u2022 Maintain oversight of reporting mechanisms (e.g., Speak Up channels) and ensure issues are escalated appropriately. Regulatory & External Engagement: u2022 Serve as the primary compliance liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors for PDx. u2022 Monitor evolving global regulations and industry standards, advising the business on implications and readiness Your Experience: u2022 Proven track record (10+ years) in compliance leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or healthcare sector. u2022 Deep understanding of global healthcare compliance frameworks (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act, GDPR, industry codes). u2022 Experience managing compliance in complex, matrixed, and global organisations. u2022 Strong investigative skills and sound judgement in handling sensitive matters. u2022 Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and regulators. u2022 Legal background preferred but not required. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
