And so much MorePosition Description:Position DescriptionAdena- Commercial CarpenterSummary:The Carpenter will provide professional services while constructing, repairing building frameworks and structures, and interior finishing with a focus on details.Primary Job Responsibilities:1. Installs doors, frames and hardware2. Forms and pours concrete3. Lays out and frames walls with wood or metal studs4. Hangs and finishes drywall5. Installs wall protection including FRP board, crash rails, corner guards, etc.6. Installs acoustic ceilings7. Installs cabinets, trim and other finish carpentry8. Lays out and installs in-wall blocking9. Installs roof blocking10. Hangs toilet partitions and installs restroom accessories11. Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment12. Other duties as assignedPM21Position Requirements: Position RequirementsAdena- Commercial CarpenterDesired Qualifications/Skills:1. High School Diploma or GED required2. 5+ years carpenter experience3. Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform carpenter duties4. 10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment5. Ability to read building blueprints6. Ability to utilize pertinent math skills7. Good knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment along with safe use of the same8. Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record9. Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may at times require overnight stays away from home10. Ability to work at heights without fear including work on scaffolding and ladders11. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency12. Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions13.
