This role designs, builds, andoptimizesautomation frameworks; drives quality strategy within an Agile squad; mentors junior engineers; and ensures releases meet stringent quality, performance, and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & StrategyLead test strategy, planning, and execution for complex products and releases.Drive the evolution of the test automation framework, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA Engineers and junior team members.Champion shiftleft testing practices and CI/CD quality gates across development squads.Collaborate with architecture and engineering leadership to define quality standards and automation best practices.Automation & Framework DevelopmentDesign, develop, andmaintainadvanced automated test suites (UI, API, backend, data validation).Build and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TOSCA, Playwright, or similar.Develop robust API automation usingRestAssured, Postman scripts, or equivalent frameworks.Create effective test data strategies, including synthetic data generation and environment management.Test Planning & ExecutionAuthor comprehensive, wellstructured test strategies, plans, and test cases.Lead exploratory testing efforts to uncover complex defects.Coordinate validation of deployments across multiple environments, ensuring endtoend readiness.Perform advanced backend testing across SQL/NoSQL database systems.Collaboration & Agile DeliveryWork closely with Product Owners to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure testability.Partner with developers, product teams, and DevOps to ensure highquality fluence iteration planning, sprint commitments, and quality checkpoints.Coordinate with onshore/offshore QA teams to drive consistent delivery and quality standards.Quality Governance & ComplianceEnsure alignment with HIPAA and other regulatory/security requirements.Support continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes, tools, and documentation.Lead rootcause analysis and drive corrective actions for systemic quality issues.Minimum RequirementDegree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.Critical Skills7+ yearsof progressive Software Quality Assurance experience, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.5+ yearsof handson test automation development experience using Selenium, JavaScript automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Jest), or similar.5+ yearsof strong API testing and automation experience.5+ yearsof backend testing experience using various database technologies.1+ yearstestingAI/ML or GenAIsystems (LLMs, recommendation engines, NLP pipelines, orMLOps) -ordemonstrateddelivery of AIadjacent quality framewor
