Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a boutique accounting firm located in Los Angeles, California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals while contributing to a well-established organization. The position is flexible with onsite hours and has been newly created to support the firm's growing needs. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes efficiently. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. u2022 Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger. u2022 Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. u2022 Process sales tax and city tax filings for corporate clients. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop to manage financial data and reporting. u2022 Collaborate with clients to address bookkeeping inquiries and provide solutions. u2022 Assist with light financial statement preparation and analysis. u2022 Maintain organized and accurate records for all financial transactions. u2022 Support the firm's operational needs by delivering timely and precise bookkeeping services. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accounting firm. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop is required. u2022 Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. u2022 Experience with payroll processing and tax filings, including sales tax and city tax. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines. u2022 Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members. u2022 Familiarity with preparing financial statements is a plus.
