Paralegal

Description We are looking for a Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in commercial and/or personal injury litigation and trial preparation, with a strong ability to manage discovery and exhibits. The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote tasks with onsite support as trial dates approach. Responsibilities: u2022 Organize and manage trial exhibits, including materials ranging from small collections to extensive document sets. u2022 Assist in discovery processes by summarizing, indexing, and preparing documents, including Bates stamping. u2022 Prepare deposition materials, including exhibits and supporting documentation. u2022 Draft basic legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, and thorough correspondence. u2022 File legal documents accurately within the Texas state court system. u2022 Assemble physical trial materials, including binders and comprehensive document packets. u2022 Maintain calendars to track deadlines and ensure timely submission of all required filings. u2022 Manage physical tasks, such as retrieving copies and preparing paper filings, as needed. u2022 Collaborate directly with the attorney to ensure seamless trial preparation and execution. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on trial preparation. u2022 Expertise in managing large volumes of documents with strong organizational skills. u2022 Background in personal injury or commercial litigation. u2022 Ability to work independently within a hybrid remote and onsite environment. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines. u2022 Familiarity with filing procedures in Texas state courts. u2022 Candidates with a JD and litigation support experience are encouraged to apply.
