This is an opportunity for an academic clinician, onthe Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) track or Clinician Teacher (CT) trackto provide patient care and do scholarly work on the mechanismsunderlying the development and treatment of breast cancers. Healthservices or clinical trial research is desired, and priority areasinclude genomics, precision medicine and cancer therapeutics. Interestin cellular therapy is also considered. This clinician will be active inthe multi- disciplinary breast oncology program. We are ideally seekingan experienced breast cancer researcher with an interest in leading ourteam of investigators in multi-investigator research projects. TheUniversity of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center Breast Cancer researchteam is actively engaged in improving breast cancer outcomes throughtranslational science. This multidisciplinary research extends acrosscampus including the schools of Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, andVeterinary Medicine and engages breast cancer advocates. Horizontalcollaborations include those across Wisconsin, through the Big TenCancer Research Consortium, national oncology cooperative groups andindustry partners. This position is full or part time, 80%-100% Thisposition requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campuswork location.
