This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to help shape anew initiative led by DSI-the RISE-AI Collaboration HQ-that iscatalyzing research collaborations with real-world impact. Thesuccessful candidate will be part of a dynamic team supporting thiscampus-wide effort focused on the field of artificial intelligence.Similar efforts are in the works for other RISE focus areas(sustainability and health). This position will organize and managemeetings and events; communicate with campus and external partners; andprovide administrative support for RISE internal research fundingcompetitions and other functions. In addition, this position willprovide administrative support for the Office of the Vice Chancellor forResearch and Administration. Applicants must be able to work in-personat the DSI office located in the new Morgridge Hall building on theUW-Madison campus. This position offers remote work flexibility. Key JobResponsibilities: 5% Provides on-site setup, registration,troubleshooting, take down, and cleanup for events 10% Updates websites5% Provides administrative support for internal research fundingcompetitions 25% Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings,conferences, travel, and work unit operations 10% Maintains establishedmethods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance ofelectronic/physical records related to work operations according toestablished policies and procedures 10% Serves as a first point ofcontact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizationalinformation via phone, in person and through other communicationmediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities25% Collects, analyzes, and...
