This positionprovides advanced technical services and is responsible for managing theinfrastructure for servers and networks. Duties will include managingfirewalls, Nutanix and VMWare environments, and networks. This positionserves as the lead technical resource to the Systems and NetworkInfrastructure Manager on the design, creation, implementation, upgrade,management, advanced troubleshooting and technical support for thecolleges infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include assistingin the development of information technology plans for the college andMCCS Information Technology Services, working with faculty and staff todetermine future needs and consulting with the Systems and NetworkInfrastructure Manager and Associate Chief Information Officer ofInfrastructure on new policies and procedures. This position is locatedon site at Central Maine Community College.The Systems and Network Administrator position is classified in the MSEASupervisory Bargaining Unit, salary range 28 (expected starting pay isin the vicinity of $90,000). Network + certification orequivalent required. Years of relevant training and experience may beconsidered in lieu of minimum education requirements on a year-for-yearbasis.
