_Are you ready to join a growing team?_ CTG is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst V opening for our client. Location: Buffalo, NY Duration: 5 months Overview: Responsible for facilitating complex projects from proposal through post-implementation. Participates in meetings with lines of business to identify requirements for application functionality and user experience. Serves as project lead to ensure test plans and specifications are completed on time and projects meet established milestones. Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in assigned systems within 18 months of assignment. Primary Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare functional specifications, test plans, test cases, and execute test cases for assigned projects u2022 Conduct research and analysis of complex data to ensure accurate functional design u2022 Mentor less experienced staff in application training, research, and project methodology u2022 Serve as functional lead on complex projects for assigned applications u2022 Schedule and facilitate project team meetings; document and distribute meeting minutes u2022 Meet with business clients to discuss requested application changes (enterprise initiatives, compliance, contractual, or BAU) u2022 Participate in design discussions and deliver functional specifications u2022 Review business requirements with technology teams to ensure understanding u2022 Coordinate and provide estimates for large projects and assigned components u2022 Serve as SME to advise on application impacts from enterprise-wide initiatives u2022 Work with vendors and technical teams to ensure thorough understanding of project functionality u2022 May serve as Test Coordinator for multi-application projects u2022 Document data mapping for integrations, conversions, and acquisition-related projects u2022 Prepare test plans/scripts, manage and execute test cases verifying functionality and performance u2022 Monitor functional specifications and change requests for compliance with regulatory and business standards u2022 Ensure timely resolution of testing or implementation issues u2022 Coordinate post-implementation activities, including feedback, issue resolution, and project debriefs u2022 Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls u2022 Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment u2022 Maintain internal control standards and implement audit points u2022 Complete other related duties as assigned Scope of Responsibilities: u2022 Responsible for multiple complex projects as functional lead and SME u2022 Coordinate with business units, vendors, and technical teams to ensure project success, adherence to standards, and regulatory compliance Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: u2022 Mentor less experienced staff u2022 Coordinate multi-application test efforts u2022 Provide guidance and oversight to project team members (no direct reports) Education and Experience Required: u2022 Minimum of 6 years combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills u2022 Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and lateral thinking skills u2022 Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent software u2022 SIT and UAT test management/coordination experience (preferably with loan servicing systems) u2022 Ability to write business requirements and test scripts/cases Education and Experience Preferred: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree u2022 Subject matter expert in business with application/system knowledge u2022 Experience managing multiple complex projects u2022 Advanced understanding of applications and integrated systems u2022 Familiarity with project management, word processing, and spreadsheet tools u2022 Knowledge of application frameworks, development software, and hardware platforms u2022 Ability to present effectively to all levels of management u2022 Detail-oriented, proactive, capable of multitasking across complex projects u2022 Experience with bank acquisition methodology or relevant conversion experience Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
