Since 2013, our site Unither Manufacturing LLC. based in Rochester (NY), specializes in the manufacture of Blow-Fill-Seal, Liquid Stick-Packs, Pharmaceutical bottles, Tablets and Capsules. It has more than 300 employees. Your role Reporting to the General Manager, North America, JOB SUMMARY: Supervises and manages the daily organization, receiving, storage and shipment, material handling and preparation, internal distribution to production staging areas and warehousing operations for all warehouse site locations. At times, the incumbent may be called upon to execute a diverse range of tasks throughout the department to ensure that all objectives are achieved. Ensures that all required materials are prepared and distributed internally to production. Ensures that shipments of finished goods are coordinated properly to meet deadlines to the companyu2019s Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PL) and Customers. Coordinates cold chain shipments for both inbound and outbound internationally and domestically. The manager is responsible for exporting intermediate and trade products to international customers. The individual is responsible for reviewing the performance of transportation services and making the appropriate decisions to comply with the rules and to serve the customer. They are responsible for maintaining accurate and traceable inventory and keeping all warehousesu2019 location in compliance with cGMP and other regulations. B.ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the continuity of production activities by coordinating material flow. u2022Manage physical and WMS/ERP receiving. u2022Manage the supply of the materials to production areas according to the production schedules. u2022Manage customer shipments according to shipping schedules and customer orders. u2022Monitors the cold chain and controlled substances shipping requirements for both domestic and international shipments. u2022Maintains accurate and complete documentation as required by delivery specification and regulations. u2022Reviews the billing of shipments to ensure that the billing is accurate and for proper customers. u2022Ensures documentation regarding exports is completed accurately. u2022Managing waste according to the appropriate channel u2022Verify that information is transitioning efficiently between the warehouse and other departments. Maintain warehouse, physical materials and electronic records for a compliant inventory in quantity, quality and status with clean and uncluttered aisles. u2022Ensure compliance of FIFO (First In First Out) or FEFO (First Expired First Out) as needed u2022Ensure the compliance of the physical storage in quality and quantity with electronic records u2022Optimize storage space based on inventory and location capacity analysis. u2022Conducts accurate record keeping, of inventory, rotation, damaged/destroyed goods. u2022Manage appropriately rejected status material u2022Carry out cycle counts and year-end inventory. u2022Analyze anomalies reported by warehouse associates. u2022Analyze physical and IT inventory discrepancies in compliance with procedures. u2022Ensure the traceability of products internally. u2022Manage destocking and destruction (waste, warehouse damage, etc.) in real time and according to procedures. Be responsible for the integrity and traceability of the products passing through the warehouse. u2022Manage incoming disputes with carriers. u2022Carry out internal complaints in the event of deviations from internal procedures. u2022Inform the planning department and the various departments in the event of a dispute or discrepancy on receipt of named and unnamed items. u2022Comply with customer specifications for shipments. u2022Ensures area compliance with company policies and all applicable practices, procedures and requirements. Manage and develop warehouse and distribution team. u2022Allocated the resources according to the workload needs. u2022Communicate reliably and in real time with the team. u2022Ensure the adequacy between the skills required for your activity and those of your team. u2022Participate in the recruitment of team members. u2022Define training needs. u2022Developing the versatility of the staff u2022Be responsible for the training and empowerment/qualification of the team. u2022Deliver Personnel reviews (Mid and End of Year) on time. Ensure efficient and compliant (cGMP, OSHA,) warehouses operations. u2022Develop and monitor the operating and investment budget of your department in collaboration with Finance and your manager. u2022Manage your department's consumables orders. u2022Consistently enforce company policies u2022Challenge suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing department. u2022Write and update standard and operating procedures related to the activity of your department. u2022Ensure that documentation related to the warehouse activity is up to date. u2022Manage the maintenance of the storage and handling equipment. u2022Quickly process discrepancies, deviations and/or CAPAs u2022Troubleshoot ERP/WMS-related problems and work with the IT organization on problems that need some type of fix or resolution from a system perspective. Key Performance indicators monitored, and action plans updated. u2022Define and monitor the key performance indicators with your manager. u2022Manage active supervision of your department. u2022Monitoring indicators daily (CAPA) u2022Analyze and consolidate KPIs once a month. u2022Follow the action plan associated with the indicators. u2022Participate in continuous improvement projects of the site. Your profile C. REQUIRED EDUCATION: (Check the minimum level of education/training necessary for this position.) u2022Bachelor's Degree in related discipline u2022Certification in Hazardous Materials & Waste Management and Compliance D. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: u2022Bacheloru2019s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and 8-10 years of related experience. u2022Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehousing and distribution that includes importing/exporting pharmaceuticals, chemicals and/or biological materials, or cGMP/GDP environment, including 4 years of supervisory experience. u2022Additional certification or training in Hazardous Materials & Waste Management and Compliance is beneficial but not required. u2022Valid NYS driveru2019s license. u2022Licensed operator of materials handling equipment preferred or the ability to obtain licenses/certification within the first 6-8 months on the job. u2022Cold chain experience desired u2022Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment preferred. E. SPECIFIC SKILLS: u2022Must be able to operate all types of materials handling equipment (walkie trucks and three and four wheeled forklift trucks). u2022Lab watch Pro or equivalent Temperature Monitoring System is desired. u2022Dangerous Goods Hazardous Materials Transportation Certified (IATA and 49CFR) is desired. F. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT: u2022Must demonstrate visual acuity, color recognition, finger dexterity. u2022The ability to read, write and communicate in English. u2022Work responsibilities involve chemical and biological agents that have assigned biological and chemical hazards. u2022Sitting approximately 50% of day and standing approximately 50% of day. u2022Work responsibilities may involve repetitive use of the hands through keyboarding, simple grasping and fine manipulation. u2022Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds. u2022Normal office and warehouse environment that may require personal protective equipment and occasional controlled environment work that may require removal of jewelry and cosmetics. u2022Occasionally subjected to weekends, holiday and irregular hours. Compensation range 95,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
