Job Summary: Responsible for overall management of a business unit, including the vision and planning of key initiatives in conjunction with key organizational objectives/strategic issues. Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives and projects to support the department and/or business unit. Establishes work processes for team members and ensures a high-level of customer service is delivered and promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Essential Functions: All expectations described in the job descriptionu2019s essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation. u2022 Effectively manage others by consistently applying the INTRUSTu2019s supervisor and manager expectations; relationship management; feedback; coaching and development; establishing effective work culture expectations; critical thinking; business acumen and resource management. u2022 Administer the staffing issues of the business unit and performs the budgeting and strategic planning functions. u2022 Marketing, development and ongoing management of syndicated bank partners within the Syndicated Lending Group. u2022 Oversight of the review and underwriting of new syndicated credits. Including identification and evaluation of intrinsic and extrinsic credit risks, pricing, and portfolio concentration management, documentation review and legal review. u2022 Management and oversight of purchased syndicated credits handled within the Syndicated Lending Group. This includes oversight of annual reviews, ongoing compliance reporting, managing credit change requests and ongoing servicing. u2022 Keeping informed of the banku2019s goals for investments in purchasing of syndicated credits, including maintaining the syndicated portfolio within the guidelines of bank policy. u2022 Oversight of syndicated sales, as requested by relationship managers and senior management, including development of confidential information memorandums, identifying and communicating with potential partner banks, support relationship manager and credit review and assist with creation of loan documentation and managing of closings. Education and Experience: The position prefers a college degree in business, preferably a major in finance, accounting, or economics or experience of 8-15 years in lending and managing relationships. Required Skills and Knowledge: Skills required in financial analysis along with good verbal and written communication skills. The person in this position should be able to interview customers and banking partners to ensure the understanding of credits and the needs of the customer and banking partner. Advanced computer skills for spreadsheet preparation, word processing, and power point presentations. Required Licenses and/or Certifications: None Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation. Working Conditions: Normal office conditions. Travel required.
