The Analyst, Equity Research job researches and analyzes complex market-related equity information from internal and external sources. This job advises the firm's portfolio managers in search of investment opportunities for the firm's various equity research growth portfolios, as well as covering existing portfolio holdings. As a subject matter expert in equity research, this job evaluates and interprets complex data for equity growth trends and advises management on new or potentially new product or service development. Key Responsibilities and Duties + Reviews research of securities of target industries and companies to provide investment recommendations. + Researches the necessary valuation, risk assessment and portfolio construction techniques required to drive the investment portfoliou2019s relative performance versus the benchmark. + Authors equity research reports and publications to be presented to management. + Monitors data on competitors and analyzes their investment strategies, prices, sales and method of operation to facilitate recommendations. + Identifies and forecasts future investment trends with complex statistical data on past sales. + Refines modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods or other principles. + Oversees development, maintenance, and execution of portfolio models to assess potential investment opportunities. + Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level equity research professionals. Educational Requirements + University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience + 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred Physical Requirements + Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 9IC 5+ years equity research and investing experience in the Medical Device sector required, 7+ years preferred Related Skills Accountability, Asset/Investment Modeling, Asset Valuation, Capital Markets, Communication, Detail-Oriented, Equity Investments, Financial Modeling, Investment Research/Analysis, Market/Industry Dynamics, Portfolio Management, Sector Expertise Anticipated Posting End Date: 2026-02-05 Base Pay Range: $180,000/yr - $252,000/yr Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
