Town Blvd; Orlando, FL 32837 Medical Receptionist Role Overview: The Medical Receptionist operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. Takes and distributes accurate messages. Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation. Use your skills to make an impact Additional Information: Required Qualifications u2022 High School Diploma or GED u2022 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting u2022 Bilingual in English and Spanish u2022 Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care u2022 Excellent customer service and phone etiquette u2022 Team player with a positive attitude u2022 Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment u2022 Attention to detail and highly organized u2022 Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) u2022 Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records) Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Value-based care model experience u2022 Knowledge of Medical Terminology Medical Receptionist Working hours: Scheduled 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM Local travel may be required; Mileage is reimbursed This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humanau2019s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $38,000 - $45,800 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
