As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for: u2022 Conducting RF/payload/communication system analysis, modeling, and simulation u2022 Designing and developing RF systems and corresponding analyses u2022 Generating specifications and analyses for ambiguous customer requirements u2022 Supporting RF engineering Basis of Estimates for proposals Key Responsibilities u2022 Execute trades and analyses for Radio Frequency systems and circuitry u2022 Design and develop RF systems and corresponding analyses, such as link budgets, cascade analyses, and frequency response u2022 Model and simulate RF systems for high-frequency and microwave applications u2022 Develop minispecifications (abbreviated specifications) for payload units, particularly RF hardware, which summarize key performance requirements, often utilized in proposal development. Additionally, generate full specifications for payload units as needed. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Understanding of Digital Communications and Signal Processing. u2022 Experience in modeling, simulation, and/or analysis of RF Systems, including Space-to-Ground and Payload Systems u2022 Experience performing Link Budget Analysis to design and optimize the communication link between the satellite and the ground station and/or Cascade Analysis to evaluate the overall performance of the payload and associated components u2022 Proficient with MATLAB u2022 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite u2022 Strong communication skills u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US citizenship is required. Desired Skills: u2022 Extensive RF/payload/communication experience in system analysis, modeling and simulation. u2022 Extensive knowledge and experience in the area of Satellite Communications (SATCOM) such as Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog analysis and testing; digital channelization, digital beamforming, digital receiver theory and technology u2022 Ability to analyze and evaluate complex satellite test data, extensive experience working with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and vector signal analyzers and their associated data. u2022 Experience with MATLAB/Simulink in modeling complex communication systems. u2022 Experience with Basis of Estimates u2022 Experience with DOORS u2022 Familiarity with STK u2022 Familiarity with HFSS. u2022 Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (either adjudicated or the ability to obtain SCI access) u2022 Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work with uncertain or incomplete information u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $101,000 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
