POSITION: Slot ApprenticeSCHEDULE: Full Time/DayLOCATION: Reno, NVSALARY:Will discuss with applicantTO APPLY:Direct Link -Page -note, employers may close jobs on the website at any time.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.- Minimum of two years' experience required in a slot maintenance or similar field.- Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills.- Detail oriented.- Self-starter with great organizational skills.- People smarts and strong interpersonal skills.- Proactive and works well under pressure in a fast paced environment.- High degree of accuracy- Must speak, read, write and understand English.PHYSICAL DEMAND- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, kneeling, walking, reaching, twisting, grasping, lifting, listening, using computer, telephone, and speaking.- Stand, sit, walk, bend (at neck and waist), climb, crawl, reach (above and below shoulder level), kneel, push/pull, twist (at neck and waist), and squat (as needed) for duration of shift, walking 2-4 miles during an 8-hour shift. Simple/power grasping, repetitive use of the hands and fine hand manipulation is required to complete essential functions.- Lift (to a height of 3 to 6 feet), grasp, or otherwise carry items and material weighing up to 100 lbs. or more.WORKING CONDITIONSWork performed indoors, in climate controlled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employee may be exposed to odor and secondhand smoke.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.WORK SCHEDULE/HOURSMust be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:- Initiates and pays jackpots and slot machine paper fills.- Redeems slot vouchers for cash.- Provide customer service by breaking bills, answering questions, giving directions, or requesting assistance; support all marketing initiatives and floor promotions.- Service slots by performing minor repairs.- Direct and dispatch other team members to events identified by the slot dispatch system.- Observe slot play and assure Slot Department security.- Other duties as assigned.
