This role is instrumental in facilitating effective communication, coordination, and collaboration both within the specialty department and the client care department. The Specialty Department Coordinator will facilitate communication from the respective department to clients.u00a0 A little about You:u00a0 A skilled and motivated individual who pays attention to detail, has strong communication skills with both clients and team members, and the has ability to multi-task with a positive outlook in a fast- paced environment. Primary Responsibilities:u00a0 u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Present treatment plans and handle financial transactions for patients with accuracy and professionalism. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Handle all department appointment check outs., schedule follow up appointments if necessary. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Call for referring DVM (rDVM) records for patients and ensure they are prepared and attached to the patientu2019s record. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Regularly monitor the department email, voicemail, eReferrals and eBookings, responding and scheduling appointments appropriately. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Ensure all CPR statuses are documented and current. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Monitor prescription requests through multiple platforms, communicate with pharmacies to ensure patient medications are filled after approval. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Ensure all patient and client information is accurate and up to date. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Provide what assistance is necessary in completing pet insurance claims. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Prepare outside referrals and requests for patients when needed. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Continue to work as a primary and key client care representative within the department to maintain service quality and efficiency. u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Facilitate the sharing of finalized medical records with rDVMs and clients.u00a0 u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Monitor and manage multiplatform communications (e.g., text, email, walkie, specialized apps). u2022u00a0u00a0 u00a0Facilitate and prioritize euthanasia services for specialty patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork and financial arrangements are completed sensitively and efficiently.
