Learn moreWhat you'll do: Support site leadership in implementing advanced safety systems and embedding strong safety practices across the organization Ensure understanding of and compliance with all regulatory requirements while promoting best practices that exceed minimum standards Partner with the Senior HSE Manager to set occupational and process safety goals, monitor performance, and analyze safety trends Coordinate audits and manage responses to findings Lead and support regulatory compliance efforts by collaborating with key stakeholders Drive process safety awareness and deliver education across the site Coordinate and oversee all required Process Safety Management (PSM) activitiesWho are you: Legally authorized to work in the US Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, science, safety/environmental or equivalent 12+ years process engineering, technical safety, or process safety engineering in oil and gas, chemicals or relevant industry experience Knowledge of US regulations specifically the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and the Process Safety Management Standard (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA RMP Rule SAP knowledge MOC, PHA/HAZOP, LOPA, and major accident hazard (MAH) methodologies and good practicesWe acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.Note: The application deadline for this position is 11:59 PM MT February 11, 2026.If you require accessibility assistance to complete the on-line application or otherwise apply for an open position with Cenovus, its subsidiaries and affiliates, please email .Who we are:Cenovus is an integrated energy company headquartered in Calgary.
